In a turnover ceremony today, February 10, 2012, outgoing Solicitor General Jose Anselmo I. Cadiz formally passed on his position as Solicitor General to Atty. Francis H. Jardaleza. In his speech, Solgen Cadiz thanked the employees of the OSG for supporting him in his stint as Solicitor General. “I hope you support Solgen Francis as much as you have supported me and help him be the best Solicitor General of the Republic” he said.

 Meanwhile, in his acceptance speech incoming Solicitor General Francis Jardaleza thanked Solgen Cadiz for his kind words and vowed that he will do his best to continue the policies that he initiated during his watch. Furthermore, he asked for the support and cooperation of the Office to help make the OSG a bastion for good governance and to make the OSG an instrument in bringing back the faith of the Filipino people to the Rule of Law.
