Habitat for Humanity

OSG helps Habitat for Humanity Build Homes

Last June 04, 2011, Solicitor General Joel Cadiz headed a group of sixty volunteers from the Office of the Solicitor General composed of both lawyers and administrative staff. The said group helped Habitat for Humanity Philippines build houses in a community at Barangay Pinagbuhatan Pasig.

Habitat is an International Christian Housing ministry that has built and rehabilitated 300,000 homes all over the world since 1976. They have worked hand-in-hand with several government and non-profit organizations in building houses for communities that ultimately benefit underprivileged families.
