Sixto Dela Costa was Solicitor General from 1941 to 1945. During this period, the Philippines was a Commonwealth government under the United States of America (1935 to 1946). Dela Costa served under two administrations during the war-torn period: the Quezon administration (1941-1944) and the Osmeña administration (1944 – 1946).
